Moving Ranger was founded by a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran who has worked as an onsite estimator for multiple moving carriers and nationwide brokerages. After seeing firsthand how fly-by-night brokers underestimate moves to win bids — and how proper expectations lead to great service — he built Moving Ranger to protect families the way Marines take care of their own.

As a Marine, I believe in taking care of people — not taking advantage of them. That ethos drives everything we do at Moving Ranger. We don’t blast your phone number to a dozen brokers. We screen every provider for active FMCSA authority, insurance on file, and reputation signals. Then we check route availability and match your move with providers that actually service your lane.

I’ve personally seen the damage done by cheap fly-by-night moving brokers who purposely underestimate a move to win the bid, then hold belongings hostage for more money on delivery day. I’ve also worked for nationwide mover brokerages and witnessed how setting proper expectations and delivering a real, binding estimate gives families the quality move they deserve.
