Moving Next Year? Start Your DBS Relocation Reservation Today

DBS Relocation Services is Moving Ranger's featured company. Our owner works for DBS, and this article is promotional. Moving Ranger is an independent online marketplace.

Knowing you are moving is enough to start a useful conversation—even if you are still choosing the home. You can use the time ahead to organize your inventory, understand the estimate and work out a reservation that fits your plans.

Contact DBS at (888) 383-7064, info@dbsrelocations.com or https://dbsrelocations.com to discuss your move.

Give your future move a starting point

When a move is months away, details tend to live in different places: a potential closing date, a rough destination, a list of furniture and a mental budget. Bring those details together now. Tell your representative what is confirmed and what is still flexible so the proposal can identify the assumptions.

Starting early gives you a chance to ask practical questions before your schedule becomes crowded. Who will you contact when the address is final? What information is needed to set the pickup window? Which packing tasks will you handle yourself? What changes require a revised estimate?

Ask what today's reservation protects

An early reservation is most useful when its benefits are specific. If your written DBS offer includes a protected transportation rate, confirm how long it applies, the route and inventory it covers, and whether fuel or other charges may change. A written rate protection provision can reduce exposure to later increases for the covered portion of the move. Its scope and duration come from your agreement.

Avoid confusing a protected unit rate with an unchanged total. More belongings, a different destination or extra services can change the calculation. FMCSA explains that a rate quote is not a written estimate and that added goods or services can require a revised binding estimate.

Still deciding on your address or move date?

Tell DBS before reserving. Ask whether your anticipated move can be booked with those details pending, what deadline applies to confirming them and whether changing the destination or timing affects the rate. Get the answers included in the reservation documents. Do not assume an open date means any pickup day is guaranteed.

Your reservation conversation can be simple

  1. Share your pickup location, likely destination and target month.
  2. Review the furniture, boxes, packing needs and access at both ends.
  3. Request a written estimate and the complete reservation terms.
  4. Confirm the deposit amount, how it is credited, cancellation/refund rules and rescheduling conditions.
  5. When the agreement works for you, place the required deposit and keep the confirmation with your move documents.

This is a planning checklist, not a statement that every DBS reservation offers a twelve-month rate lock, refundable deposit or unrestricted date changes.

Turn next year's move into today's plan

The point of getting started is to make progress: a named contact, documented assumptions and a clear next step. You do not have to predict next year's fuel market to request an estimate today. You can decide based on the actual offer in front of you.

Call DBS Relocation Services at (888) 383-7064 and ask to review a reservation for your upcoming move. Once you have agreed to the written terms, your deposit completes the reservation step required by that agreement. Keep communicating as your inventory, dates and destination become final.

Editorial note: No specific future price, discount, deposit amount, refund policy or rate-lock period is promised in this article. Written DBS terms govern the actual reservation.
